About Ms Kavita Verma
MBBS MS FRCOG
Hello
I’m Kavita Verma, a consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology with over 30 years of experience. My career has taken me across various countries, including India, Nepal and the UK.
I completed my undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in India. After my education, I served as a faculty member in both India and Nepal before moving to practice in the UK, where my extensive training and experience enabled me to be registered.
In the UK, I pursued further training in South West London through the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, earning a postgraduate degree (MRCOG) and securing a consultant position in North Yorkshire. My areas of expertise include benign gynaecology and conditions such as prolapse, fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic pain, bladder issues, early pregnancy complications, abnormal menstrual bleeding and contraception advice, and I am glad to offer advice on these conditions.
I have a strong focus on Menopause Care and hold an Advanced Certification in this speciality. I am registered with the British menopause Society as a Specialist and a trainer. My Passion Lies in supporting women through the challenges of perimenopause and menopause, particularly the long-term health issues that may affect women experiencing premature, early or surgical menopause, not only through Hormone Therapy but also through lifestyle changes and alternative or herbal therapy.
In the past, I organised Menopause seminars at my workplace and in the community to enhance education and awareness about menopause.
Currently, I offer both online and in-person consultations for gynaecology issues and menopause, continuing my commitment to women’s health.
Discover inspiring testimonials from my patients on my website or on Doctify.com. Their stories reflect real experiences and the positive impact of care provided to them!
